In the springtime, at our 83rd annual festival in Stratford, we will provide a myriad of performance opportunities for musicians, actors and dancers of all ages.

Check out the 2008 Syllabus for a glimpse at our festival offerings. (The 2009 Syllabus will be posted on this site and mailed to teachers in late September.)

The 2009 festival will begin with a week of school music -- featuring choirs and bands -- from April 14 to 17.  Our official opening night celebration will follow on April 20 with an evening of family ensembles.

Music, speech and drama competitions will take place from April 20 through to May 1. And the competition will end with a spectacular three-day dance festival, which will run May 8 to 10. 

Our finale Stars of the Festival on May 11 will be a tribute to excellence in all performing arts disciplines, as we showcase many of our festival winners and introduce our Provincial team.
