In the spring, at our 83rd annual competition in Stratford, we will host over 1700 performances in music, speech, drama and dance.

The 2009 festival will begin with a week of school music -- featuring choirs and bands -- from April 14 to 17.  Our official opening night celebration will follow on April 20 with an evening of family ensembles.

Music, speech and drama competitions will take place from April 20 through to May 1. And the competition will end with a spectacular three-day dance festival May 8 to 10. 

Our finale Stars of the Festival on May 11 will be a tribute to excellence in all performing arts disciplines, as we showcase many of our festival winners and introduce our Provincial team.
