Lee Willingham is associate professor at Wilfrid Laurier University Faculty of Music, and coordinates the music education program and choral studies. He is Director of the Laurier Centre for Music in the Community and is the founding director of the Bell’Arte Singers of Toronto. Dr. Willingham devotes much time to teacher education and choral singing. He has adjudicated and provided workshops for students and choral conductors across Canada and in the U.S.
Guy Few is a gold medal graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and holds a Fellowship Diploma from Trinity College, London, England. He has appeared as a soloist with many Canadian and US orchestras including the Toronto, Vancouver, Quebec, Winnipeg, Santa Rosa, and Oregon Bach Festival Symphony Orchestras. As a chamber musician, Guy performs and records on a regular basis with Stephanie Mara, Nadina Mackie Jackson and Bellows and Brass. He is a sessional lecturer at Wilfrid Laurier University where he teaches trumpet and chamber music. |

Dr. Gerard Yun is in demand as guest conductor, clinician, soloist, and composer throughout North America. He has conducted the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, The Colorado Youth Symphony Orchestra, The Colorado Lyric Theatre, and The Sacramento Master Singers. Before moving to Canada he was Director of Choral Studies at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and Professor of Voice and Choirs at Southern Utah University. He is currently Associate Director of Choirs at Wilfrid Laurier University and conductor with the Hamilton Children's Choir.

Michel Faigaux is a graduate of the National Ballet School of Canada. He was hired into the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in 1990 where he was promoted to soloist. He then danced with the National Ballet of Canada from 1995-1998, and also with Alberta Ballet from 1998-2001. Michel went on to have an extensive guesting career, performing and guest teaching in the USA, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Europe, China, Egypt and more. On film, Michel has had the pleasure to dance with Martin Short and Mikhail Baryshnikov. More recently Michel has been a featured dancer in music theatre productions, including three seasons at the Stratford Festival. He currently teaches at the National Ballet School and is a guest teacher in Japan.
In 1993, Denise Quinn opened Somerville Dance Academy in Richmond Hill where her goal is to provide quality education for her students in the art of dance. Her studio offers technique-based classes in Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Acrobatics. Her former students have furthered their dance education at university as well as continued to perform professionally around the world. Denise is a founding member and examiner in Classical Ballet, Modern and Acrobatics with P.A.E.C. - Performing Arts Educators of Canada. She has choreographed productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Life Goes On – A Beatles Journey.”

Brian Usher has been a performer, teacher, arranger and composer in the music field for over 30 years. He has taught in elementary and secondary schools, was Minister of Music in many church music programs, has published many sacred choral and instrumental works, and has written and orchestrated over twenty stage shows and cantatas. Active as a jazz piano player and studio piano and trumpet player, Brian has performed on many CDs recorded in Nashville, Toronto and in his own 24 track digital recording studio in London.

Aury Murray has Associates in Piano and Voice from the Western Ontario Conservatory of Music (Conservatory Canada) and she holds an Honours BA (Music Major) from Lakehead University. While teaching piano and voice in Thunder Bay, she taught vocal ensemble for the Music Department of Lakehead University and guest lectured for their Faculty of Education. In 1995 she moved Toronto where she established her teaching studio and served on the Provincial Council of ORMTA. On the executive of the Canadian National Conservatory of Music (CNCM), her roles have included: Coordinator of Examiner Training, Coordinator of Vocal Programs, Piano and Voice Examiner and Clinician for the “Summer Sizzle” Pedagogy Workshop.

Michel Fournier completed a master’s degree in Montreal before continuing his studies abroad, primarily in France and Austria. Michel completed a doctorate in performance and is currently associate professor at the University of Sherbrooke. Praised both as a soloist and a chamber player, he is widely appreciated for the many recitals he has given in Canada, Europe and United States. Michel has several CBC recordings and movie soundtracks to his credit. His CDs feature piano works by Debussy, Prokofiev, Bartok and Stravinsky. |

A graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada, Mary Hitch Blendick started her acting career in Winnipeg with the Manitoba Theatre Centre; then, along with her husband James, joined the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, where she was a member of the acting company for eight seasons. Other stage appearances included roles with Theatre Calgary, Theatre Plus, the National Arts Centre, the Grand Theatre and the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis. Lately, Mary has enjoyed giving voice class, one of her passions being to “release and speak the voice that is within us.” |

Joan Barrett has a wealth of experience as performer, teacher, adjudicator and examiner. Her performing experience includes Principal, Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Assistant Concert Master, Stratford Festival Orchestra as well as appearances in recital and as soloist in Canada and USA. A dedicated and enthusiastic educator, Joan Barrett has taught at universities in Calgary and Toronto, as well as the Royal Conservatory’s YAPA and Glenn Gould School. Deeply involved in the founding of the Academy at Mount Royal University (Calgary), she was also the first String Co-ordinator of Royal Conservatory’s YAPA program.

Lori Gemmel started as a street-corner busker in Montreal. She is now Principal Harpist with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, has toured Europe and Japan with the Nouvelle Ensemble Moderne, and teaches at Wilfred Laurier University and Redeemer University College. Lori plays regularly with the Toronto Symphony, COC, and National Ballet orchestras. She has recorded as a soloist on Prelude, with Jennifer Swartz on their harp duo recording The Garden of Peacocks, with Trumpeter Larry Larson on their soon to be released Divertissement and with Feist.
Rick Piche has taught guitar at Saunders Secondary School in London, Ontario for over 22 years. Under Mr. Piché’s direction, the Saunders Senior Guitar Ensemble has performed in the US, Holland, Germany and the Czech Republic. Mr. Piché also teaches guitar part time at the University of Western Ontario. He has released 3 solo recordings, and a Celtic CD with “The Piché Family.”

Tenor Torin Chiles is a member of the voice faculty at the University of Western Ontario. He performs with major opera companies and orchestras throughout Canada and the United States. Torin played the role of Pang in Puccini’s Turandot in Vancouver, Montreal, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary and Arizona. His performances with orchestras include: National Arts Centre, Detroit, Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary, Victoria and Kitchener Waterloo.
